Job Description

1. Logistic Operation control and cost optimization. 

  • Review and figure out bottlenecks in Logistic process and propose solutions. 

  • Review and manage efficiency of 3rd party Logistics at all plants & WHs 

  • Analyse productivity and utilization of SCN equipment, WH, storage to propose where to improve and to automate  

  • Cause & Effect analyze the capacity and efficiencies of handling equipment, inter-transfer plan, considering operation expenditure. 

  • Cooperate with Planning team and Innovation Engineer to simulate and benchmark the cost efficiency between new solution and current.  

  • Analyze and report operation costs at all plants & WHs vs. Budget. Identify which is inefficient and propose improved solutions. 

2. Provide system support. Generate and implement SC continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Coordinate with SC functions and other departments to solve SCN system and process related issues 

  • Conduct study/research to review implementation of SCN inbound and outbound operation at plants, transportation, vendors, OHS procedures… etc.  

  • Synthesize information and participate in projects as requested by project manager/Optimization superintendent/SC director 

  • Effectively control, assess performance and improve SCN systems and software (SIPS, barcode, GPS, bag counter, loaders, packers…) 

3. Ensure the segregation of duty of SC staff in SAP/SIPS/Standby system, cost simulation, Stock model and other SC tools. 

  • Systematically analyze supply chain authorization portfolio of supply chain staff 

4. Conduct annual internal audit of SC activities and perform IMC control to ensure compliance with the company policies and regulations 

  • Focus on auditing dispatching cement process and product inventories, raw material receiving and transportation activities 

  • Conduct IMC control twice a year. Solve the gaps before 2nd line & company auditor.   

5. Design and update procedure/ work Instruction and maintain in DMS system.  

  • Design all work instructions/procedure after new projects 

  • Operation active observation to review and update Supply Chain work documents 

Job Requirement

1. Educational Qualifications 

  • University graduate major in Business administration, supply chain or IT background 

  • Efficient English communication skills 

  • Certification in project management or professional supply chain management  

2. Relevant Experience 

  • 2-3 years of relevant experiences or above 

  • Demonstrate competency in Project management, problem solving, data mining and reporting 

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP). Proficient in using MS offices.  

  • Experience working with different types of software applications that are used for process modeling and analysis is a plus. 

  • Supply Chain experience or working in production industry is preferred 

  • Collaborating and influencing senior management and peers. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people. 

  • Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, analytical ability.
