Job Description

1. Major Activities

  • Mainly managing the procurement of services for Facility Management.
  • Occasionally support and handle procurement for production service.
  • Searching for the qualified supplier to meet the requirement. Working on the quotation until the best cost.
  • Searching the right and qualified supplier.
  • Selecting the key supplier to develop them to be our permanent supplier for the specific goods and services.
  • Doing the planning, analysis and negotiation to bring the best value for organization and company.
  • Coordinating with End-user to obtain the right goods/services, at lowest total cost.
  • Making sure the delivery meet quality, quality and OHS.
  • Negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions to ensure the best interest for the company
  • In charge of contract, PO, delivery schedule and settle all issue related to order (quality, delivery, payment, supplier’s service).
  • Weekly tracking outstanding PR, PO with user.
  • Tracking the contract approval, delivery & settle all payment issue.
  • Managing and maintaining contracts with vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations
  • Analyzing and evaluating supplier performance to maintain capable supplier base for the operation
  • Building the relationship with senior stakeholder at site to understand what the support need from procurement.
  • Monthly filling of all orders attached the supporting documents
  • Analyzing the related procurement data to define possible initiatives for cost saving and scope optimization.
  • Managing and complete assigned reports from Management
  • Developing new capable suppliers and maintaining relationship with current supplier to ensure the competitiveness and advantages of procurement
  • Coordinating with other departments/functions to get the work done in a supportive and effective way
  • Responsibility and accountability in OHS regulations of Insee Vietnam

2. Major Challenges

  • Working with Sap, Ariba system
  • Urgent requirement
  • Limited in supplier and CSM requirement.
  • Technical, import-export knowledge is appreciated
  • High value project with big impact to the operation cost of the Company

Job Requirement

1. Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Good command of English and Vietnamese

2. Relevant Experience

  • Experience in a previous procurement role (sourcing, operations) with exposure to Manufacturing, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
  • Demonstrated performance in working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
  • Experience acquired in a MNC, especially in construction/building material industry is a plus
  • Integrity and high commitment
  • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at cross-function in both English and Vietnamese language
  • Effective time management, planning and organization skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts and adversarial relationships
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Proven ability in analysis and interpretation of data

3. Leadership Competencies

  • Demonstrates strong ethics to create a safe and trusting working environment
  • Ability to adapt with change by flexibility in thinking & action to get it done better
