POSITION: PROCUREMENT CATEGORY MANAGER - INDIRECT CATEGORY

***INDIRECT CATEGORY (Material Repair Operation, Facility, Service apartment, IT & Telecom, Travel, Audio-visual Equip, Office Furniture, Stationery, Promotion Item for Marketing...)

- Report to: Head of Procurement Department
- Manage: 5 subordinates
- Work location: District 4 - Ho Chi Minh City
- Working day: Monday - Friday
- Salary: Negotiate

MAIN DUTIES:
1. Cost saving:
• Identify potential projects and initiatives for potential savings and service efficiency.
• Familiar with cost analysis, price negotiation and service level improvement.
• Increase & Improve on qualification of supplier’s database.

2. Stakeholder Management:
• Manage and maintain a positive rapport between Procurement, its related stakeholders and suppliers.
• Facilitate team members to enhance Service Level Performance & (internal) Customer Satisfaction

3. Contract management:
• Have good knowledge on tendering process
• Familiar with contract management

4. People development:
• Identify and propose development plans and career opportunity for potential individual towards positive career directions
• Continuously coach and provide guidance and supports to subordinates as required.

Job Requirement

1. Background:
▪ Master/Bachelor’s in Logistics or International Commerce discipline
▪ Have experience in handling indirect material category: Material Repair Operation, Facility, Service apartment, IT & Telecom, Travel, Audio-visual Equip, Office Furniture, Stationery, Promotion Item for Marketing...

2. Specific working experience:
▪ Minimum 5 years in procurement management role (category management, sourcing, operations) with exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
▪ Demonstrate skills in dealing & communicating with cross-functional departments.

3. Technical / functional skills:
▪ Strong in cost analysis, strategy in negotiation.
▪ Familiar with ARIBA & SAP system (added advantages)
▪ Health & Safety management compliance

4. Behavioural competencies / Leadership and managerial abilities:
▪ Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively/convincingly at all levels (including technical and operational) and with all functions in English and Vietnamese
▪ Excellent time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed time-frame and in a pressured environment
▪ Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across multiple functions
▪ Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts and adversarial relationships
▪ Proven ability to identify problems quickly, make sound judgments, establish and implement solutions
