Job Description

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT

- Work location: Insee Factory - Kien Giang

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Maintenance activity control

  • Control execution of periodical maintenance activities
  • Closely control maintenance KPIs to develop action plan for equipment avaiaibilty improvement
  • Assess critical equipment condition and lifetime of wear parts to order spares
  • Control resources and progress to ensure effective maintenance activities
  • Ensure analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis (SOLVE, FMEA) for every single equipment
  • Lead to perform equipment improvement

2. Equipment improvement and optimization

  • Propose Capex list
  • Plan, execute and control plant shutdown safely and effectively
  • Apply best practice to improve and upgrade equipment
  • Involve in performance improvement projects (CAPEX)

3. Maintenance cost control

  • Develop maintenance budget
  • Control and optimize maintenance materials and spare parts at reasonable rate
  • Utilize resources and control contractors
  • Develop maintenance cost improvement plan
  • Optimize shutdown cost

4. People development

  • Define competencies and training plan for group
  • Participate in and facilitate subordinates to attend training courses
  • Develop KPIs for group
  • Monitor staff performance, motivate and recognize good / poor performers in time
  • Propose succession plan of group to Manager
  • Provide technical training for department’s staffs and other departments (if required)

Job Requirement

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in mechanical / electrical engineering or above
  • Capability to communicate fluently in English (TOEIC 700 or equivalent)
  • Computer skills: MS office, MS Project, Auto CAD
  • Knowledge in SAP, MAC, Vibration Analysis, Industrial lubrication

2. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years working in cement industry or heavy industry
  • At least 3 years working in maintenance management position
  • Experience on balancing the rotating machinery in cement industry.
  • Gear drive and bearing experience.
  • Non-destructive testing (NDT) knowledge and its application in cement industry
  • Understand on lubrication subject. (Application, oil contamination analysis, etc).
  • Fluently handle all condition monitoring tools. (Vibration collector, thermal-camera or thermalmeter, dynamic balancing kit .etc.).
